Tips on doing literature review

  1. Access electronic databases, journals, catalogues, Google scholar, that contains tons of high reputable academic resources
  2. Once you find the relevant resources, save in Endnote
  3. Read, make comments, highlights, only in Endnote
  4. Each time you want to look for any information in an article, go back to Endnote. You can easily find the most important parts in the article because they have been highlighted or commented.
  5. If you want to work in NVIVO, do use your stored file in Endnote. Export files in Endnote and save as into XML file type. Open your NVIVO, and import the Endnote files
